A report from the World Economic Forum finds the U.S. and Europe, alone, contribute to almost half of the 44.7 metric tons of e-waste generated around the world each year. Back Market, an e-commerce company, wants those devices diverted from the municipal dump and back in consumers’ hands as refurbished products.
